Permanent permission to stay for an unlimited term
A police department on the basis of the application of a citizen of the third part will grant a permanent stay permit to a citizen of the third part:- who was granted a permanent stay permit four years ago on the basis of § 43, or
- who is the child under 18 of the person of a third country having permanent residence permit for an unlimited period.
DOCUMENTS TO BE ENCLOSED TO THE APPLICATION:
1) 2x photos sized 3x 3.5 cm,
2) Valid international passport,
3) Administration fee payment receipt to the sum of 4.5 Euro,
4)Financial provision:
- extract from a bank account opened in the name of the applicant, or a document from an official body of a legal person certifying financial and material provision of the applicant for the whole period of his stay to the amount of the living-wage per each month of stay (annually it is 2,277.96 Euro). For under age citizens of a third country availability of a half of this amount (i.e. 1138.98 Euro per year) must be confirmed,
- letter from the employer indicating the agreed wage rate,
- work contract and the employer’s letter indicating the factual wage rate,
- extract from a bank account or a document certifying the pension received by the husband, a parent or a citizen of Slovak Republic, who is the relative of the first relationship line of a citizen of a third country, and his written consent to provide financial and material sponsorship to the citizen of a third country to the minimal amount of twelve living-wages (2,277.96 Euro per year). For under age citizens of a third country a half of the threshold amount (1138.9 Euro per year) must be confirmed).

If it concerns a citizen of a third country as per § 46 paragraph 1 -b) aged over 14:A foreign citizen of a third country must submit to a foreign affairs police department a medical certificate attesting that he has no dangerous diseases. Such medical certificate is valid within 30 days from its issue date
